This sustainably-made functional writing desk is designed for working people. For creative people. People who know the value of efficient work.
While developing the idea of the My Writing Desk (MWD), designer Inesa Malafej had a clear goal – to reduce the chaotic clutter that creative work brings to the table. The result is this multiple awards-winning desks that have storage space organized around the table-top, where the objects are always in sight and easily accessible. This enlarges the desktop beyond its edges without the worry that things might fall down. Furthermore, any unnecessary objects can simply be pushed to the sides, for storage.
The high edges of the desk isolate it in the room and create a positive microclimate where things “feel good” in relationship to the user. The wings are divided, leaving space for the electrical wires.
MWD features two drawers, to store a laptop and other working tools. The legs of the table can be twisted off for easier transportation.

We offer a free EU shipping. For countries outside of EU, the shipping cost will be calculated at the Checkout.
The goods leave our warehouse in perfect condition and are protected against transport damage. The goods are insured against shipping damage and the condition is documented before shipment. Therefore, please check the shipping box for damage before opening it and take a photo of any damage to the packaging. In the unlikely event that the product is damaged in addition to the packaging, this must be communicated immediately to our e-mail at info@somefancyname.com.
Returns
Made-to-order items cannot be returned.
According to the EU Directive on Consumer Rights Designers on somefancyname.com provide 14-day cancellation policy, which means that the customers from 28 EU member countries, plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein, have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@somefancyname.com within 7 days. If the return conditions are met, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
The customers are responsible for the items until the Designer gets the products. We recommend the Customer to use a courier that offers track and trace and insurance for the product. You can also cancel your purchase by refusing to receive the shipment. In this case, somefancyname.com will deduct the cost for the return shipping from the return amount since the shipping company imposes a cost of Return Shipping on Seller.
The customer is responsible for the costs of Return.
